Success or Not

Having looked at some of the emails I have received today I was rather perturbed about a couple of them.

Now I like everyone else wants to earn money using the internet, but it would appear that a couple of the big fish are against any newcomer having the right to tell others how they should be doing certain things.

While I agree with some of the comments made about newbies teaching newbies there is no reason why a newbie cannot be as knowledgeable as someone who has been on the internet for many years. Perhaps they have gained their knowledge off line, you know those little things like universities where you can gain knowledge.

We all learn in different ways and at different rates. Some learn quicker than others. Some are more practical than others. Just because I am starting out at something on the internet does not mean I do not have the knowledge to teach what I have learned offline.

Just because someone is a newbie online does not automatically mean they are not knowledgeable about the subject they may be offering to teach. If I found someone who was selling fridges to Eskimos I would suspect they were an above average salesman. If they have been doing this offline it does not follow that what they have learned cannot be taught online.

Of course there is a saying in the UK if you can’t do it, then teach it. I am not sure if this has travelled around the world or not, but it does not mean every teacher is a failure, and from a practical point of view you need to be able to do it to teach it.

I am still keen to pass on the knowledge I have gained in the offline world. I am still keen to help others even though I have not been doing it on the internet for a long time. Some of my knowledge has been gained by being scammed in one way or another, and for that reason alone I would not want to be a scammer.

We all have some knowledge to pass on. As the saying goes there is a book inside everyone just waiting to come out. It is just a matter of having the time and the ability to get it out.

I will carry on trying to help others where I can by imparting the knowledge I have gained from various sources, but I will be very wary about listening to what some of the Gurus have to say now they have decided I am not good enough in their eyes.
